A-Line Coaches are based in Pelaw, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.

Altona Travel is a private hire operator in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. It also has catering vehicles for the entertainment business.

Ayrways are based in Newton on Ayr. They once ran in competition against Stagecoach Western, however this has ended and peace has been restored. Ayrways mainly do school work and various coach trips.

Bluebird are based in the East of Manchester and run a number of services to the city. The fleet is mainly made of Dennis / Transbus products, but other vehicle types do feature.

Border Villager is a ceased operator who used to operate service 267 from Berwick to Wooler.

Bus Eireann Is Irelands major bus operator, operating a number of cross country services and also running local services in a number of cities.

All 3 companies are part of Linn Park Buses, but mainly use the trading name of Caledonia Buses. Airport Express was used when they competed on the service between Glasgow City Centre and Glasgow Airport, but that has been discontinued.

The Classic Group is based in Annfield Plain, it is owned by Tellings Golden Miller. Classic has a long history and has taken over operators like Moor Dale, Primrose, and Hylton Castle. Clyde Coast is based in Ardrossan. They used to run a number of services around North Ayrshire. These days they mainly do school services and private hire work.

Compass Royston are based near Stockton on Teesside. They are owned by Dales and District. They operate mainly on private hire, though have a large number of school and other local bus contracts.

Cumbrae Coaches is based on the Isle of Cumbrae, just off the Clyde Coast. They run the service between Millport the only Town on the Island and Cumbrae Slip. However they aren't the only company on the island, as they have a rival operator called Millport Motors

E&M Horsburgh are based in Livingston and operate a variety of vehicles on a number of routes in the West Lothians.

Garfoot Coaches was a small firm based in Dipton (Near Stanley), County Durham. It ran a local service in Rowlands Gill, however they no longer run the 615 after Nexus changed the contract, and introduced the R5 operated by Stanley. The normal vehicle on the 615 was Ford Transit L687HSF. They also own another 3 Ford Transits, but the vehicles aren't seen much due to the small size of the fleet.

Garnetts are based in Tindale Cresent in Bishop Auckland. Their operations are mainly Private Hire and School work.

Glasgow Citybus are an operator who run in the City of Glasgow and areas to the west of the City Centre. They are owned by West Coast Motors.

Go Whippet are based in Cambridgeshire, and operate a variety of service around the area and into the City of Cambridge itself.

Green Triangle Buses are commonley known as South Lancs Travel. They are based in Leigh, and run a number of services in the town and in nearby Wigan.

Halton Transport operate in the town of Widnes and Runcorn, with services running to Warrington and Liverpool.

Hutchison of Overtown is a well known Scottish Independent. Unfortunatley its bus services have passed onto First Group, however the coach fleet remains for the time being.

Irvings are an established operator based in Carlisle, they do a large amount of Private Hire plus an express service from Carlisle to Newcastle and the Metrocentre.

The Intergrated Transport Group are based in South Yorkshire and runs under the trading names of Mass Leon and Mass Transit.

Johnson Bros are well known for their large fleet of Bristol VRs. There are based in Derbyshire.

Teamdeck who operate as K-Line are based in Honley near Huddersfield. They run many services around the Kirklees area.

Kimberley Coaches was based in Prudhoe, it merged with a number of local operators, one been Andrews Coaches and ran bus operations under the name of Tyne Blue Line. In early 2006 it took over the operations of Palmers Coaches of Lemington. Which some of the vehicles can be seen in this collection on Tyne Blue Line services.

M Travel are based on the outskirts of Castleford in West Yorkshire. The fleet is mainly Metrobuses.

McKindless are a well know operator based in Wishaw with operations spreading accross Lanarkshire and with routes running around Glasgow in Competition with First.

Based on the Isle of Cumbrae. Millport Motors is the other operator on the Island (The other been Cumbrae Coaches). They run in competition with Millport Motors on the service to the Cumbrae Slip.

Pennine is a long established operator based in Skipton.

Rossendale Transport is a municipal operator who have served the Rossendale (Haslingden Corporation and Rawtensall Corporation fromed Rossendale) for 100 years.

Rush Travel was based in Seaton Burn, Tyne and Wear. However the company no longer operates.

Scarlet Band is a well established operator based in the heart of County Durham. They operate the Durham Park and Ride along with a few bus services.

Selwyns are a Cheshire based operator that runs mainly coaches on Private Hire and National Express work, they also run the town bus in St Helens using Italian Built Tecnobus Panthrons Electric Buses

Shamrock Travel are based on the outskirts of Poole and have a fleet that mainly consists of Leyland Olympians, though they do have a few other interesting vehicles in their fleet.

Shuttle Buses are based in the town of Kilwinning, they run a variety of vehicles on dial a bus, private hire and normal service work in Ayrshire.

South Yorkshire Motors are a small Independent firm running around Pontefract and Ferrybridge.

Stephensons of Easingwold run a number of services to from towns and villages to the north of York into the city itself.

TM Travel is Derbyshires biggest independent, however they are moving to the former First South Yorkshire Depot in Halfway, which means they will become a South Yorkshire based operation.

Travel de Courcey are based near the City of Coventry and operate services in and around the city.

Travel Dundee is owned by National Express Group, it was formerly known as Tayside Transport.

Travel London has had a number or rebirths. The latest reincarnation is when the National Express Group aquired the operations of Connex London.

Trent Barton is a major and colourful part of the Wellglade Group.

Tyrer are based in Central Lancashire.

Veolia Midlands mainly consists of former Dunn Line Operations in South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. For photos of older Dunn Line photos, these will be uploaded at a later date.

Warrington Borough Transport serve the Cheshire Town of Warrington. Recently most of the services have been relaunched under the Network Warrington name with a new livery.

WB Kerr are based in the east end of Wallsend, Tyne and Wear. They have been going for many years specialising in Private Hire and School Transport.
